Decorative Pebbles Supplier for International Importers
Buying stone across a border is mostly a question of trust in the detail. This page sets out how we work as a supplier — what we commit to, what we will not claim, and what we need from you to quote accurately.

How we work as a supplier
Specification in writing
Colour, size band, finish, tolerance and packing are recorded in the quotation so repeat orders reference the same document.
Samples from the shipping batch
Approving a sample from a different batch is the main cause of disputes. We send photographs of the material being packed.
Packing quoted separately
You can compare stone cost and packing cost independently, which matters when you are modelling landed cost.
Documentation to your broker's brief
We prepare the document set your customs broker specifies rather than assuming one format fits every country.
How to evaluate any decorative pebble supplier
A short checklist for comparing us, or anyone else, against a real specification rather than a sales pitch.
| What a supplier says | What to check instead |
|---|---|
| "Best quality" or "premium grade" | Ask for the exact size tolerance, colour standard and finish in writing, not an adjective. |
| "Fast shipping" | Ask for a realistic lead time against your product, quantity and packing, confirmed at quotation stage. |
| "Any quantity available" | Ask what the supplier's own container payload assumptions are for your route before you commit to a tonnage. |
| A single published price list | Compare it against a quotation built from your actual specification — natural stone pricing moves with grade and packing. |

Typical order sizes we work with
Trial / sample order
A small quantity, often mixed sizes or colours, to test resale before committing to a full container.
Single container (FCL)
The most common starting order for importers — one or several products consolidated to fill payload.
Multi-container / scheduled
Repeat containers on an agreed cycle for distributors who need consistent grading between shipments.
Signals worth questioning in any supplier
| Signal | Why it is worth questioning |
|---|---|
| A price quoted before any specification is discussed | Natural stone pricing depends on grade, size, finish and packing — a price with none of that agreed is a guess. |
| Reluctance to confirm size tolerance in writing | Tolerance is what a shipment is actually judged against on arrival; it should be on the quotation, not implied. |
| Samples sent from stock rather than the shipping batch | A sample that does not represent the batch being packed is not a meaningful approval step. |
| No willingness to separate stone and packing cost | Bundled pricing makes it hard to compare suppliers or model your own landed cost accurately. |
What affects how long an order takes
We do not quote a standard lead time because it genuinely depends on the order, but these are the factors that move it in practice.
- — How quickly a specification and sample are approved on your side
- — Whether the size bands and colours ordered are readily available or need extra sorting time
- — The packing format chosen — printed retail packing generally needs longer lead time than loose bulk or standard bags
- — Vessel schedules and space availability on your route at the time of booking
- — How quickly your side confirms payment terms and documentation requirements
Supplier terms in plain language
- FOB
- You arrange and pay for sea freight from our loading port onward; we deliver the container to the port.
- CIF
- We arrange sea freight and insurance to your named destination port; you clear customs at your end.
- Proforma invoice
- The pre-shipment document confirming product, quantity, price and terms before you pay a deposit.
- Certificate of origin
- A document confirming the goods originate in India, often required for customs clearance or preferential duty.
What we do not claim
We do not publish production volumes, client names or delivery guarantees we cannot evidence, and we do not promise identical batch-to-batch colour matching, because natural stone does not work that way. Anything we state about your order will be in your quotation.

Supplier FAQs
- How do you handle quality disputes?
- By preventing them: approved samples come from the shipping batch and photographs are shared before dispatch. If something arrives outside the agreed specification, we want to see photographs and the retained sample so it can be discussed factually.
- Can you match a competitor's sample?
- Send a photograph or physical sample and we will tell you whether it can be matched with natural stone from our range. We will say no when the answer is no.
- Do you supply first-time importers?
- Yes. Many of our buyers are adding a stone line for the first time, and we will work through packing, documentation and loading step by step on WhatsApp.
- What information should we have ready before contacting a supplier?
- Product, colour, size band, finish, quantity, packing format and destination port. Suppliers who can quote without any of that are usually guessing.
- Do you work with buying agents and sourcing companies?
- Yes. We are used to routing specifications and approvals through an agent, provided one point of contact is agreed for each order.
- What should make us cautious about a supplier?
- Vague answers about size tolerance, refusal to send a sample from the actual shipping batch, or a price quoted before any specification has been discussed. Treat these as reasons to ask more questions, not to walk away outright — but ask.
- Do you subcontract sorting and packing to another party?
- Grading, washing and packing are carried out to the specification agreed with you. If you need to know exactly where and how your order is processed, ask us directly for your specific order.
- How do you handle a specification you cannot meet?
- We tell you which part cannot be met and why, and suggest the closest workable alternative rather than accepting an order we cannot fulfil to spec.
