Export FAQs for International Pebble Buyers
The questions importers ask most often, answered plainly. If yours is not here, message our export team and we will answer it directly.

- Do you supply buyers inside India?
- No. We supply international buyers only. India is our origin of supply.
- How do I request a quotation?
- Send your product list, size bands, quantity per line, packing format and destination port on WhatsApp. Those five inputs allow a quotation in one exchange.
- Why are prices not published on the website?
- Because grade, packing, quantity, Incoterm and destination each change the number materially. A published price would mislead more buyers than it helped.
- What is your minimum order quantity?
- It depends on product, packing and destination. Share your target quantity and we will confirm what is workable.
- Are colours natural?
- Yes. Stone is washed, sorted and in some cases tumbled to a polish. Nothing is dyed, painted or coated.
- Will repeat orders match exactly?
- Natural stone varies between batches. We sort to an agreed standard and share photographs, but we will not promise identical matching.
- Which Incoterms do you quote?
- Commonly FOB and CIF. Tell us your preference and destination port and the quotation will be prepared on that basis.
- Can you supply mixed containers?
- Yes. Mixed colours, sizes and products in one container are standard for distributors.
- Do you provide samples?
- Yes, drawn from the grade you intend to buy, with photographs of the packing batch before dispatch.
- What documents will we receive?
- Typically the commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading and certificate of origin, plus anything additional your customs broker specifies for your country.
- Is import documentation advice included?
- We share general guidance and prepare documents to your broker's brief, but customs requirements differ by country and change over time, so your broker is the authority.
- Why is there no enquiry form on this website?
- Because export enquiries move faster in conversation. Every enquiry goes through WhatsApp message, WhatsApp call or direct phone call.
Ordering and quotations
- What is the fastest way to get an accurate quotation?
- Send products, size bands, quantity per line, packing format and destination port in one message. Quotations built from partial information usually need a follow-up round, which slows things down.
- Can I place a trial order before committing to a full container?
- Trial quantities are discussed case by case depending on product and packing, since smaller quantities are not always economical on every route. Tell us your target volume and we will confirm what is workable.
- Can I change quantities after the quotation is issued?
- Yes, as long as it is before production and loading are confirmed. Changes after loading has started are harder to accommodate.
- Do you supply distributors on a recurring order schedule?
- Yes. Tell us your reorder cycle up front so sorting can be planned to keep repeat containers consistent with earlier shipments.
Packing
- What packing formats are available?
- Loose bulk, 20–25 kg woven bags, jumbo bags of roughly 1,000–1,500 kg, and printed retail packs. Each is quoted as a separate line from the stone itself.
- Which packing format is cheapest?
- Loose bulk has the lowest packing cost but the highest handling cost at destination. Retail packs cost the most to produce but carry the highest resale value per kilogram.
- Can you use our own branded bags or artwork?
- Printed retail packing is possible. Share your artwork, bag size and material preference on WhatsApp and we will confirm feasibility and lead time.
- Do wooden pallets meet international requirements?
- Where timber is used, it is treated to ISPM-15 heat-treatment standards for the destinations that require it. Confirm your country's exact rule with your customs broker.
Shipping
- How much stone fits in a container?
- A standard 20-foot container typically carries roughly 24–26 tonnes of decorative stone, since weight limits are reached before the container is visually full.
- Which Incoterm should I choose, FOB or CIF?
- FOB prices the goods loaded at the origin port and leaves freight and insurance to you; CIF includes sea freight and insurance to your nominated port. Neither is inherently cheaper — it depends on your own freight arrangements.
- Can deliveries be phased across a project timeline?
- Yes. Share your project schedule and tonnage per phase and we will plan packing and loading so later phases stay consistent with earlier ones.
- What happens if a size band is short at loading time?
- We flag any shortfall before loading and agree substitution or a revised quantity with you rather than loading a container that does not match the order.
Payment
- What payment terms do you work on?
- Payment terms are confirmed with each quotation and depend on the buyer relationship, order size and destination. Ask your export contact for the terms available on your order.
- Do you work with letters of credit?
- Yes, letters of credit are supported for qualifying orders. Confirm the format and required documents with our export team early so the LC and the shipment stay aligned.
- Is a deposit required before production?
- This depends on the order size and packing format, particularly for printed retail packaging that cannot be resold elsewhere. It will be stated clearly in your quotation.
Quality
- How is stone graded before packing?
- Stone is washed, sorted by size and colour, and checked against the agreed grade before packing. For named projects we can sort against a retained reference sample instead of a general description.
- What defect rate is considered acceptable?
- Acceptable tolerance varies by product and grade and is confirmed at quotation stage. Natural stone will always include some size and colour variation — that is normal for a natural material.
- Can I see photographs of the actual batch before it ships?
- Yes. We can send photographs of the packing batch before dispatch so you know what is shipping rather than relying on a general product photo.
Samples
- How do I request samples?
- Message our export team on WhatsApp with the products and grades you want to see. Samples are drawn from the grade you intend to buy.
- Should I approve a sample before confirming a bulk order?
- Yes, and we recommend keeping a retained sample at your end for comparison when the shipment arrives.
- Will my bulk order match the sample exactly?
- It will match the grade and specification the sample represents, but natural stone varies slightly batch to batch. We sort to the agreed standard rather than promising pixel-perfect matching.
- How many samples can we request before ordering?
- Enough to confirm the grade you need. If you are comparing several colours or sizes, tell us up front so samples can be sent together rather than in several rounds.
- Do you charge for samples?
- This depends on the quantity and type of sample requested. Ask on WhatsApp and we will confirm before sending anything.
